Places like the suburbs have all their houses in nice, neat rows. If there is a crack it is fixed. Something worn? Take it away. But not in New Orleans. There is beauty in the decay. Not everyone can see it. But for those of you who can, this shirt is for you.
This shirt and tagline basically sums up the city for us. A Fool’s Paradise? Maybe. More interesting that anywhere in the country? It is up there with the best of them. Are we crazy to live here? A little. Am I sounding like Rumsfeld asking myself questions. Yep.
Right the fuck on.

As an occasional visitor to the city, I was sitting in Napoleon House a couple weeks back, enjoying a sazerac and admiring the chipped walls. I saw it all as beautiful, venerable decay. This design fits the bill.
When might you have more of this design in Men’s XL?

...a skull, blooming beautiful…?

I am curious about what the image on the shirt signifies. Thoughts? Knowledge?

Yep … this needs to come in a men’s T-style

My friend and I each bought this shirt (t-style, in blue) after spending a week volunteering in Holy Cross and at the Carver Schools. It summed up our whole experience in a pretty, pretty package and, gotta say, love how it accents my boobs ; ) Beauty in entropy indeed. It’s freakin’ gorgeous. Have yourself another bourbon.

Aw, look at that… I happen to be Susanna’s friend. And I couldn’t have said it better. I love wearing this shirt. It’s beautiful. I’m considering getting a tattoo based off of it. That actually lead me back here to try to get a hold of the designer to see if s/he’s cool with that or has a tattoo design idea.

Very good topic . Thanks.
Very interesting blog
Very cool design! Useful information. Go on!
I too am considering getting a tattoo based off this design. It’s a beautiful way to sum up life here.

Very interesting and useful website, thanks.

This city has always run counter to squeaky-clean, smile-button America. Life is equal parts growth and decay, and New Orleans long ago learned how to love the whole enchilada. Brilliant shirt.

I dont understand…what does this have to do with entropy? Nice design though!

My favorite shirt. Very true and sad and defiant.
