The Big Easy in Buffalo
The Big Easy in Buffalo is a not for profit organization that brings New Orleans and Louisiana music and culture to the Western New York region several times a year for live performance, as well as music education and professional development for local musicians, students, and the community.
The Big Easy in Buffalo has been connecting Louisiana performers to the Buffalo community for free or affordably priced shows since 2007. They look to expose students and the Western New York region to the music and unique American culture of the likes of Mardi Gras Indians, Jazz, Zydeco, Blues, R&B, and more through music education, performance, and mentorship. They have even hosted legends like Dr. John, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Trombone Shorty, Ellis Marsalis, and more.
The Big Easy in Buffalo is continuing their mission in these socially distant times by planning virtual shows until we can do it all in person again.
